Downtown Durham Pub Crawl

Since we had so much fun at our Cary pub crawl last month, we decided to do it again...this time exploring some of Durham's finest taverns.

We'll start at Pour Taproom (pictured above), a cool self-serve bar with tons of different beers and wines that you can POUR yourself at whatever quantity you want and get charged by the ounce. We'll hang out there from 7pm till about 8:30pm or so, then start crawling. We'll keep plans flexible, but we'll make our way down Main Street and tentatively try to hit places like Rubies on Five Points, Bull McCabe's, and Dram and Draught. Then if we're feeling extra chipper, we might round off the night with dancing at Shooters II.

These places are all very close together--total walk time from Pour to Dram and Draught is about 10 minutes (13 minutes if we end at Shooters). If you're arriving after 8pm, check the comments below--we'll update each time we move on to a new venue, but the plan is to spend roughly an hour at each place, and stay out as long as people are up for it.

For parking, there are several parking garages in the immediate area downtown...most of which are free starting from 7pm.
