This is not America! Or is it?

Recent events in the U.S. are startling to many Americans, with armed soldiers on city streets and the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Camps have been created for immigrants rounded up by ICE, and these agents are entering homes without judicial warrants. Some say this is not America, is that correct? Do these events represent our values, who and what we have been as a country? Solomon Gibson III, a leading member of the Ethical Humanist Society of the Triangle will present a historical perspective that helps place recent events in context.
