An Introduction to Draconic Astrology with Draconic Transits

Draconic astrology is a branch of astrology that is based on lunar symbolism, offering an astrological point of view that deeply examines one’s inner unconscious motivations.

Using the same coordinate system as the solar oriented Tropical Zodiac, the Draconic Zodiac is oriented to the Moon and places the Tropical North Node at 0º degrees of Aries. Derived from and working in tandem with the Tropical Zodiac, which is concerned with an individual’s personality and psychological traits, the Draconic Zodiac alludes to the soul’s memory and inheritance from previous incarnations, providing a deeper understanding of the soul’s evolutionary journey.

Draconic transits are often experienced as impactful, even inevitable events that profoundly alter the course of one’s life. They serve to awaken unresolved issues from the past, ultimately providing an opportunity to find closure. The way in which these ordeals are interpreted will have repercussions on one’s external behavior for a very long time. By examining the draconic transits, we can often very accurately identify what’s actually happening behind the scenes of an event.
