Western Prairie Fringed Orchids Hike

Join the Dakota Prairie Chapter on Saturday, July 8th at 9:00 A.M. for a moderate, 6 mile. out and back hike. We will observe the Western Prairie Fringed Orchid in bloom. The delicate flower which grows in the Sheyenne National Grasslands is considered a threatened species which means it is likely to become an endangered species in the future.
Our leader is an employee of the U.S. F S., Aaron Gaither.
