Hike along ridge of the Sheyenne River

We will hike along the ridge of the Sheyenne River from the gravel pit to Ranes Bridge. Along the way, we will learn some of the history and culture of the area. This is a 5-mile, moderate hike with shuttling. For those who want a longer hike, there is an option for an out-and-back (round trip) hike which would then be 10 miles.
We will meet at the gravel pit at 10:00 AM. Google map coordinates are:
46° 22.411'N, 97° 29.498'W. From Fargo, I29 southabout 15 miles to Exit 48 ; west on ND 46 about 14 miles to ND-18; south on ND-18 about 13 miles to ND 27 W; west on ND 27 W about16 miles to 141st Ave SE; south on 141st Ave SE to 71st St SE; west on 71st St SE about one mile to 160th Ave SE;
south on 160th Ave SE until you see a gravel/dirt road to the right (west) and take this road to parking area.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect (like Tick) repellant.
