Hike in Sheyenne Grasslands

We will meet at Jorgen's Hollow and hike to the bridge which crosses Iron Springs Creek, an out and back hike of about 8 miles. Due to the distance, this would be a moderate hike. The terrain is gravel with some sandy spots and it is relatively level with some gently rolling hills. We will see the grasslands with many trees and some open spaces.
We will be gathering at the Silver Prairie Saloon in McLeod after our hike for good food and social time.
As the year progresses, we may see more snow or clearing snow. Thus, check back here and be sure to RSVP if you are thinking of attending. That way we know how many will attend and we can contact you if anything changes, like the possibility of needing snowshoes.
