The Latest on DevOps with Azure DevOps - Chris Bowen

Details

No matter what kind of applications you’re creating these days, thinking through the process of managing creation, testing, and delivery needs to go hand-in-hand with actual coding itself. Azure DevOps is Microsoft’s set of DevOps capabilities refined through a long history (VSTS, VSOnline, TFS, etc.) of offerings to flexibly support the people, processes, and technologies of DevOps, independently of the specific technology choices you make for your applications.

In this session, we’ll take a look around Azure DevOps, understand the key features, share the latest updates, and help you to get started. We’ll look at how any kind of development, happening in any form (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), can be supported and extended to integrate other third-party and Open Source tools you may already be using. Everything from source control and planning to full CI/CD, shift-left development, automated testing, reporting, and security/DevSecOps and beyond is fair game, and we’ll dive in as deeply as time allows.
