This is a Meetup Group for anyone interested in learning how to Salsa New York Style, Mambo On2, LA Style Salsa On1, Rueda de Casino (Salsa Cubana), Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue and Latin Dances. We started this salsa group for the sole purpose to recruit, teach and bring together a nice and positive salsa scene in Omaha, Nebraska that loves social dancing in clubs, ballrooms or parties. So if you love dance and latin rhythms, we would like you and your friends to join this salsa group. This is the Meetup for you! Dance to the music "Que viva la salsa"!

Beginner BACHATA - 4 Week Progressive Course
Nebraska Salsa Scene, 1321 Galvin Road South, Bellevue, ne, USThis class is for the true beginner to Bachata dancing. Bachata is a dance originating from the Dominican Republic. Both the music and dance are highly popular at latin social venues all over the world.
Come and step in for your first class for only $40 with our 4 Week Progressive Course each Tuesday from 6pm - 7pm on April 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.

CHA CHA (Cuban Club Style) - 4 Week Progressive Course
Nebraska Salsa Scene, 1321 Galvin Road South, Bellevue, ne, USCha Cha originating in the late 1940’s in Cuba, as an offshoot of Mambo, can be considered the mother of modern day salsa. With a basic step similar to Mambo and a distinctive “triple” or shuffle step, the slower speed of cha cha allows dancers to learn more subtle yet complex ways of interacting with Latin music. Knowing Cha Cha also makes some of the best Latin Music (from Tito Puente in the Palladium Era to the 60’s Boogaloo Era) available to you as a dancer.
Join us for this super fun and enticing latin dance with its infectious musical rhythm. We will be covering the traditional Club Style On2 Cha Cha from basic fundamentals to more advanced techniques. Never miss a chance to be on the dance floor when the DJ spins a Cha Cha song. Fun and learning is guaranteed. No partner required. Build your dance confidence and become a great dancer.
