I Wrote a (Technical) Book and So Can You
Details
We're back in July for a new talk featuring Dylan Hildenbrand! Dylan will be talking about his experiences publishing a technical book. As always, a special thanks goes to Improving for generously sponsoring NebraskaJS!
Talk Description
Being approached by a publisher to write a technical book was a big deal for Dylan. Having never taken on such a task before, he was energized to tackle the project. In this talk, Dylan will outline his experience writing a technical book, from start to finish. Sparing no details, Dylan will discuss research, contract negotiations, advance payments, and how he overcame writer's block. If you've ever been even slightly curious about what goes into writing a book (technical or not), this you won't want to miss this talk!
