Stephen, one of our very own Needles members is the founder of the Southern Shorts Awards to recognize filmmakers. Let's show our support for both a fellow liberal, and someone who sees the value in the stories told through film.
The Southern Shorts Awards will be showing 29 short films on the 29th. Please feel free to drop into any of them. A $10 ticket gets you inside (and out of the heat!) for all films.
This meetup will only be for the Documentaries section that runs from 5:15 to 6:45, with dinner close-by afterwards. Sign up to meet me there, and the grab your ticket!
