Panda--monium at the Zoo
Details
When was the last time you went to the Atlanta Zoo? Way too long ago?
Join us for a fun morning at the zoo. Zoo Atlanta officially welcomed two brand new 6 year old pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang. They are making their debut on November 6th.
No boring lectures or tour groups here—just a highly energized, slightly caffeinated group of awesome people wandering around, looking at cool animals and enjoying the fresh air. We will be going on the a.m. before the crowd comes. They say the animals are more active in the cooler weather.
TICKETS......there are 3 options.... First is recommended.....You can buy an Any Day pass on line for $39.95. If the weather is bad and we have to reschedule you can use this ticket anytime until 4/30/27.
Option 2.....You can buy a ticket specifically for this date 11/15 on line for $37.95. NOTE.....They have a zero refund policy. If the weather is bad and we have to reschedule you lose your money.
Option 3..... You can buy a ticket on the date of the event at the gate. I believe the cost is $52.00. If you choose this option please arrive before they open which is 9.am. to get in line to buy a ticket. We would like to enter the zoo around 9:15 and we dont want to wait for you to buy your ticket.
Parking......The zoo offers paid parking for $3 an hour to a max $12 per day. There is also free street parking around the zoo. They say arrive right when the gates open at 9a.m. to get a spot in the paid lot. Note that they do not take cash for parking. Please pay close attention to City of Atlanta parking signs, resident-only permit zones, and hydrants to avoid city parking tickets or towing.
Here is the zoo site to purchase tickets.
