Potluck dinner and an evening of singing

We will use the musical board game Encore as a platform for a kind of free word association; coming up with songs that contain a word or category from the game.
For example, if the word is 'blue' , somebody might come up with Blue Velvet, or Off We Go Into The Wild Blue Yonder. Then the other team needs to come up with a song to starts with Blue. We continue until we can't think of another song, or we get bored with the topic.
An example of a category might be songs with boy’s names.
This will be A Capella style, and we will likely sing as much or as little of the song as anyone can remember.
Generally, we divide up into teams
The emphasis is on having fun singing, rather than making it through a board game
The evening often becomes a nostalgic stroll down memory lane. It is amazing what songs people dredge up from dusty corners of their memory.
We will start with a potluck dinner, followed by our game(s).
The evenings group will be drawn from a few different groups, so there will likely be folks there not appearing on the RSVP list.
