We'll cover records and immutability, patterns, top-level statements and covariant return types, and also describe the scenarios in which you would use advanced performance-related features such as function pointers and native-sized integers.

Joe Albahari (http://www.albahari.com/) is a C# MVP, creator of LINQPad, author of "C# 8 in a Nutshell" and has given more than 40 talks at conferences and user groups over the past 10 years.
