Become a Mentor for New Expats - Nema Problema's Mentorship Program

Details
Nema Problema is launching two new rounds of our mentorship program for foreign-born newcomers this May – and we need your help!
Are you an experienced expat who remembers what it was like to start fresh in a new country? Do you want to give back, share your story, and make someone's transition smoother and more empowering?
Then we need you as a mentor!
In Nema Problema's mentorship program we match people who are born outside of Sweden and who want to enter the labour market with a mentor who has experience of working and living in Sweden. The primary aim of the program is thus for people who are born outside of Sweden to take steps closer to the Swedish labour market. In addition, we hope and believe that mentors and mentees will develop personal relationships with a broader and mutual exchange of experiences.
The role is voluntary and the program lasts 8 months and consists of individual meetings with your mentee once a month, and two group meetings for networking and knowledge exchange with other mentors and mentees. As a mentor you will also be invited to a mentor training in the beginning of the program.
As a mentor, you should:
- Have experience from working in Sweden
- Be motivated and interested in meeting and supporting someone who is new to Sweden
- Be available to meet your mentee in the afternoons, evenings, or on weekends
- Live in Stockholm or Uppsala County
- Speak Swedish and/or English
Note, that there will not be an actual event on April 25th. Please visit our website to read more and register: https://www.nemaproblema.se/mentoring-program/
All the best, Nema Problema
