Posle dosadašnjih okupljanja u Berlinu, Nemački kutak i Serbian Entrepreneurs po prvi put dovode ex-YU startup i tech zajednicu u Minhen.
Prvo minhenskо okupljanje održaće se u sredu, 16. septembra 2026., a domaćin događaja biće AutoScout24 GmbH.

Kao i do sada, okupljamo osnivače, ljude koji grade proizvode, inženjere, investitore i sve ostale iz sveta tehnologije i preduzetništva. Događaj će biti na engleskom jeziku i otvoren je za sve - bilo da dolazite iz regiona ili ste deo šire tech zajednice.

After our previous gatherings in Berlin, Nemački kutak and Serbian Entrepreneurs are bringing the ex-YU startup and tech community to Munich for the first time.
Our first Munich gathering will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, hosted by AutoScout24 GmbH.

As always, we're bringing together founders, builders, engineers, investors, and other people from the startup and tech ecosystem. The event will be held in English and is open to everyone - whether you're from the region or simply part of the broader tech community.

Vraćamo se sa 9. okupljanjem ljudi iz sveta tehnologije, startapa i preduzetništva iz bivše Jugoslavije (ex-YU), u organizaciji Nemačkog kutka i Serbian Entrepreneurs.
Događaj se održava na engleskom jeziku i otvoren je za sve - bilo da dolazite iz regiona ili ste deo šire startup i tech zajednice.

Dr. Luka Nićin je investitor i rukovodilac za bio i zdravstvene tehnologije u Pace Ventures, sa fokusom na kompanije na preseku nauke, zdravstva i tehnologije.
U svom predavanju, Luka će otvoriti crnu kutiju VC fonda: odakle dolazi novac, kako je fond strukturiran, kako investitori razmišljaju o riziku i povratu i šta se zapravo dešava iza kulisa pre nego što fond uopšte može da investira u startup.

### Miloš Matić

Miloš Matić je partner osnivač u Omorika Ventures, VC fondu fokusiranom na pre-seed i seed kompanije iz Srbije i šireg regiona.
Nadovezujući se na Lukino predavanje, Miloš će objasniti šta se dešava kada konkretan startup dođe pred investitora.
Kako VC procenjuje priliku? Šta je zaista važno prilikom donošenja investicione odluke? Kako izgleda interni proces odlučivanja? I šta na kraju pravi razliku između "ne" i odluke da se investira?

Two talks. Two perspectives.
From understanding how a venture capital fund actually works behind the scenes to the question probably on every founder’s mind when talking to investors: how does a VC actually decide who gets funded?

### Dr. Luka Nićin

Dr. Luka Nićin is an investor and Head of Bio & Health Technologies at Pace Ventures, focused on companies at the intersection of science, healthcare, and technology.
In his talk, Luka will open up the black box of a venture capital fund: where the money comes from, how funds are structured, how investors think about risk and returns, and what actually happens behind the scenes before a fund can even invest in a startup.

Miloš Matić is the founding partner of Omorika Ventures, a VC fund investing in pre-seed and seed startups from Serbia and the wider region.
Building on Luka’s talk, Miloš will take us to the next step: what happens when an actual startup lands in front of an investor.
How do VCs evaluate an opportunity? What really matters when making an investment decision? How does the internal decision-making process work? And ultimately, what separates a "no" from a decision to invest?
