For the first time in U.S. history, a Navy warship will be commissioned in Ohio. This extraordinary milestone places Cleveland at the center of a moment unmatched in American naval tradition. The ship will pass by Huntington Park/Beach at 10:00 AM. I am unsure if there will be a large crowd or small, so I am planning to arrive very early to get a good spot directly behind the Ice cream stand.

Participants will gather at designated lakefront sites between Vermilion and Cleveland to welcome USS Cleveland with American flags as the ship makes its way to the Port of Cleveland.
