Meetup @ GraphSummit Tel Aviv

Details
We are back on the road to deliver the latest and greatest of graphs, come along and connect with fellow Neo4j enthusiasts in Tel Aviv!
To finish GraphSummit Tel Aviv we are hosting a Meetup. We start already at 17:30 with beer and pizza (of course) and we want to discuss graphs and Neo4j with the community. So you're more than welcome to join early! At around 18:30 we will start with the presentations!
Talk #1
How moving our operational database to Neo4j helped improve our ORM performance - Arthur Zverko, EquityBee
EquityBee is a growing startup, and as such, scaling up and expansion is a super crucial step for their business success. The unique use case has placed a harsh demand for the ability to expand and scale. The decision was to transit to a graph database and present a custom ORM within it. The ORM was originally built to define all schemas, relationships, and data validations. This transition was made with harsh performance requirements, and that is why EquityBee aimed to keep the NodeJS codebase clean and performant – while making the dev team’s life easier – by using a custom-built Query Builder to enable developers to code in a JS object manner. Presented by EquityBee's Team Lead, this session will focus on their unique use case and how they have scaled their operational database from Firebase to Neo4j AuraDB.
Talk #2
Ontology-Driven GraphQL - Roei Levi, Accenture Labs
Ontologies are being a widely used for representing knowledge. The necessity for representing knowledge and gathering the corresponding data is undisputable, but how can we make knowledge accessible for clients in an agile, scalable manner?
We present our work on generating GraphQL schemas directly from ontology files and consuming them. Using the Neo4j GraphQL server, a part of the GRANDstack framework, along with further enhancements of the server’s codebase, we deliver data and real-time analytics on
data, on demand. We will demonstrate, how these components combined provide continuous delivery of data and insights to a frontend client.
We also have a special gift to all participants of the Meetup which revolves around Neo4j AuraDB - for now we cannot say more! But we are sure you will like it!
