Camping, Kayaking, and Fishing at Inks Lake State Park! (Hill Country)

Details
After RSVPing, please fill out this required camper information form.
Come camp, swim, fish, and kayak with us at beautiful Inks Lake State Park! Your RSVP fee covers park entry and camping fees.
Please check out our waiver, a supplies list and some state park camping tips HERE. Both NEO and TPWD waivers must be completely filled out and brought with you.
A good chunk of people going are with our Houston chapter. If you want to be included in their event conversation, join the Houston group HERE, let me know once you have done so, and I will add you to that event group.
This camp is open to both individuals and families. The fee for individuals is $25, and the fee for families is $35 for up to 5 people. If you are a family, only pay 1 RSVP fee and adjust your RSVP amount to $35. Families must not have more than 3 adults and must include at least one child. All attendees are expected to participate in NEO's programming and activities during the event.
If you are unable to come to camp for some reason, you may give your spot to someone else or consider it a much-appreciated donation to NEO. If you are RSVPing for a family, please note in the comments how many adults and children will be in your group.
During camp, you will learn how to choose a proper and safe campsite, how to pitch a tent, and some basics of fishing, kayaking, camfire safety, and more. This will be a great camp for first-timers and experienced outdoorsy people.
In addition to coordinating activities during camp, NEO will provide tents, cots for adults, sleeping mats for kids, stoves for cooking, campfires, s'mores, life preservers for swimming, fishing gear, kayaks, and more. Feel free to bring your own life jackets, fishing gear, cooking gear, floating tubes, etc.
Activities will include hiking, birding, swimming, fishing, kayaking, stargazing, a night hike, a safe UV light scorpion/spider hunt, and more! We will provide instruction and safety guidelines for all activities. No outdoor experience is necessary to participate.
If you represent a school, church, or youth group that would like to participate, please contact me directly at contact@neoproject.org.
You may arrive in the park at any time on Friday and just enjoy the park. We will meet at the campsite at 4:00 PM. Friday and Saturday nights, we will make a group campfire and bring out camp stoves to cook dinner as a group. Campers are responsible for bringing their own food for the duration of camp. We will cook as a group and form a nice community for the weekend.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Sunday morning, we will break camp and be packed up by 11:00 AM. Once we are packed up, you can choose to enjoy the park for the rest of the day on your own if you like.
Because we plan all activities around RSVPs, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED for this event unless the event is actually canceled. If you need to cancel for any reason, you can give your spot to someone else or just consider it a donation to NEO. Thank you for understanding.
