Volunteers Needed - HEB Kids Day Event

NEO has been invited to participate in the Kids Day Celebration at HEB Dripping Springs. We will provide some life-size games, a fishing activity, and native wildlife education. The skins shown on the event photo have been procured legally by an environmental education supplier, and we use them to get kids excited to learn more about our native wildlife.

We will begin setup for the event at 8:30 AM. The event will end at 3:00 PM. We can use all the help we can get to make this a success.

No experience is necessary. We will show you anything you need to know. You can help out with the lawn fishing activity showing kids how to use real fishing poles. You can help out will some of the life-size games like checkers, the flaming ring toss, connect 4, jenga, etc. Or you can help out at the native wildlife education station.

Again, you do not need to have any experience, but you will learn a lot during the event. You'll also learn more about NEO's nonprofit work and initiatives. Plus, volunteers will get a highly coveted super soft NEO t-shirt! We are happy to sign off on volunteer hours for anyone who needs it.
