Garden Campfire and UV Light Egg Hunt!

Come enjoy an evening of socializing around the campfire! We'll also have a UV light evening egg hunt for kiddos. NEO will provide some UV lights for participants. If you have one, plese bring addiitonal UV395 lights. NEO uses the DarkBeam A300 UV395 Rechargeable light available overnight on Amazon for $13. You can also pick up the powerful Husky 600 Lumens rechargeable 4-light headlamp at Home Depot for $30. It's a great multi-use headlamp with UV, white, green, and red lights that we highly recommend.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event hosted by NEO (Nature and Eclectic Outdoors) and Sunshine Community Gardens!

We will set up an above-ground campfire for attendees to enjoy. NEO will provide marshmallows and long campfire forks. Please bring any other goodies you would like to roast or toast in the campfire. We have some folding chairs to use, but feel free to bring a comfy camp chair.

For the egg hunt, we have hand-painted plastic eggs with UV-reactive paint and stuffed them with treats for the kiddos to enjoy. We will collect the eggs in the end to reuse them, so be sure to bring a bag to put all the kids' candy in to take home.

This is event is adult and family-friendly. Kids and well-behaved, non-aggressive pets are welcome to attend.

NEO has been trained by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in fire safety, so attendees will get a crash course in safely starting and extinguishing a campfire.
