This ride will be approximately +/-13miles, on mostly paved trails, streets, sidewalks checking out the art, architecture, history of the neighborhoods near the Menil museum. We might go to Rice University not far away.
I always wear a construction vest when riding on streets/sidewalks and have a few extra vests for others to wear. Ask me for one.
Ride as if you are riding by yourself, look both ways @ all street crossings.
When riding along a street we will ride 2 abreast and keep close to one another to allow cars to pass in another lane. Watch out for parked cars opening thier doors.
After the ride is a Menil museum event "Neighborhood community day" 1pm-5pm, Drum Circle is 3pm-4pm
What to bring:
*Bike
*Helmet (strongly recommended)
*Water/hydration
*Snack
*Blanket or chair to sit around the Menil museum
-Bring a lunch for after the ride and before Menil event @ 1pm.
-Blanket or lawn chair
