This will be along mostly paved 15 miles and some crushed granite pathway (2 miles within Herman park) but mostly paved trails along Brays Bayou.
After the ride, check out the Japan festival happening at Herman parks Japanes gardens. Bring a lock for your bike or you can walk from McGovern gardens.

Parking might take some time, so get there a bit early. Sundays, metered street parking is free. Double check signage.
When riding, ride as if you are riding by yourself, look both ways when crossing streets/sidewalks.
Before the day of the ride, air up your tires, check your brakes, oil your chain.
Be familiar with changing gears on your bike, there are a number of ups and downs along the bayou.
