This will be a casual bike ride 10-13 miles, along paved streets through the neighborhood of River Oaks homes. There are a few small parks within the neighborhood we'll pass by (8 out of 10 small parks) From Levy park to River Oaks neighborhood is a half mile along a local side street (Eastside st).

I have a few construction vests available for anyone to use. Ask me for one. Ride as if you are by yourself, look both ways when crossing intersections. Before the day of the ride, air up your tires, check your brakes, oil your chain. Bring an extra inner tube.

Parking is NOT permitted in the park since we are not visiting the park until a couple of hours later. Security/AIA event organizers have told us in the past. Park on the side streets of Eastside st, Wakeforest st, Norfolk st, Audely st, Lexington st. There is an office building parking garage, rates apply. Next to the park is a dead-end street (Lexington st) behind a Crowne Plaza hotel as an option.

I would guess there could be a food truck or 2 or 3 there? Gaspachos Mexican Bites appears on the internet map, a small permanent structure utilizing outdoor park seating. Hearsay is another restaurant in the park. https://hearsaygastrolounge.com/reservations-hearsay/#levy-park https://maps.app.goo.gl/y6V71ZubMZgZr6Sq9
