This bike ride will be 10-13 miles along paved trails of Exploration park (5 phases built from 2011-2023), neighborhood streets, and minimal sidwalks and arterial streets. Other parks we'll past through are Pine Brook wetlands (north & south), Greenbelt park, Brookwood park, Horsepen bayou. Exploration park was a golf course that was saved in 2011 from being turned into more houses. This former golf course (Clear lake golf course opened 1963, closed 2005) is near NASA (2 miles from the entrance, Space Center Houston). I could imagine a number of astronauts hit a few rounds on this course back in the day.

What to bring:
-Bike
-Helmet (strongly recommended)
-Hydration, water, preferably with electrolytes, pre-hydrate an hour or more before the ride
