Art car preview, before the parade, 3-4 miles

We will PREVIEW the art cars, along Allen Parkway, before they start the parade at 2pm. The cars line up at Heiner (45 Gulf freeway) along Allen parkway, to Montrose/ Waugh. Previous years I've walked Allen Parkway viewing the cars before the parade begins @2pm. 3-4 mile walk

Parking around the area can take some time. There are paid parking garages downtown. Maybe find parking along Washington Ave between Sawyer and Houston ave. 6th ward neighborhood (between Memorial and Washington, Sawyer and Houston ave) might be an option but watch for "no parking" signs. Paid parking in Lot "H"

Restrooms @ Buffalo bayou park cistern and portable toilets along the preview route.
