Bike ride +/- 11 miles along paved surfaces, hike and bike trails, very little street (one side street to Brays bayou). Nature Discovery center to Brays bayou, then east out and back. (Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular medicine). There are 2 other routes we could take once we reach Brays Bayou.
Sunset is around 8pm
***The pace is about 12 MPH*** There are a number of ups and downs along the bayou.
Before the day of the ride, air up your tires, oil your chain, check your brakes.
No open speaker systems, have only one earbud on so you can hear other riders commands/alerts.

Bike lights or a headlamp
Helmet (strongly recommended)
Water/electrolytes
Snack
Extra bike tube
