Boulder Field at Hickory Run State Park, Pa

Please join me on a fun hike at the Boulder Field at Hickory Run State Park. We'll start the hike at the trailhead on route 534. The hike to the boulder field meanders about 3.5 miles on flat terrain. Once at the boulder field, we'll pause to enjoy the natural wonder of a glacial till created 20,000 years ago. The field has been designated a National Natural Landmark and is worth exploring. We'll return to the trail head, cross route 534 and continue to Hawk Falls, at the confluence of Hawk and Mud Run. Hopefully, It will be roaring and ruggedly spectacular.
Total length of the hike is 7 to 9 miles, depending on how much we meander, with minimal elevation gain.
