How it Works
We kick things off with a fun, guided group discussion where everyone’s invited to share hot takes, wild theories, critiques, and praise for the film. Our host will keep the conversation flowing for about an hour, with lively back-and-forth.

After that, stick around for casual, open mingling with no moderation. Whether you're in the mood to debate character arcs or just geek out over your favorite scene, there’s plenty of time to connect, chat, and nerd out together.

Latecomers are welcome but we start promptly at 7:05pm so if you arrive late, you will miss out!

Do I need to be a hardcore fan to come?
No! Whether you've been a hardcore fan for decades, or you just got into it, you're welcome. We’re here to share perspectives, not test your nerd creds.

Is this a debate or a lecture?
Neither. It’s a friendly group discussion—more like a book club for movies. We value curiosity, kindness, and respectful sharing. Hot takes welcome, rudeness not.

How does the moderated portion work?
We’ll kick things off with a guided group conversation to help everyone get comfortable and connected. During this first hour, we take turns sharing thoughts, with our host keeping track of who wants to speak next. It’s a relaxed and respectful.

How does the unmoderated portion work?
After the moderated hour, the space is yours to explore! Feel free to chat in small groups, jump into different conversations, or just hang out however you like. There's no pressure to stay until the end. You're welcome to head out whenever it feels right for you.

Do I need to watch the movie beforehand?
It’s highly recommended so you can join the conversation, but we won’t quiz you.

Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit to this event. People under 18 may participate if accompanied by an adult, and they should be teenagers of an age and maturity level where they can participate or quietly listen to the discussion.

How many people usually come?
Group size can vary, but we aim for 10–30 people to keep the discussion lively yet intimate.

Do I have to speak during the discussion?
Not at all! You're welcome to just listen if that's more your style. No pressure.

Can I come in cosplay?
Absolutely! Cosplay is encouraged, though totally optional. Show off your look or just come as you are.
