Nate Nichols is leading the session. Nate earned his Ph.D. in AI from Northwestern, spent over a decade building text generation and language modeling systems at Narrative Science and Salesforce, and since 2025 has been running public AI safety workshops across Chicago.

Nate will demo frontier LLMs live, using basic techniques to jailbreak them and bypass their safety guardrails. We'll see where these guardrails hold and where they don't.
