Let's play an RPG in Central Phoenix! I'm running a game twice a month (Saturdays are more popular so far), which is a long-running campaign for those who want to stick around, or a chance learn about role-playing for n00bs, or a one-shot adventure if you're between campaigns and looking to roll some dice (and would like to meet some new people).

The game is currently set near the icy fortress called Northwatch. Medieval life is pretty normal up here; work all spring and summer, harvest in autumn, and pray that the ice wraiths don't capture you in winter. The fortress is precariously ruled by Sire Marus Cross - the knight responsible for quelling a rebellion there, and said to have giants' blood. But the tribute has not been forthcoming, and King Brandish is not pleased.

All you need to bring is paper and pencil, or an e-tablet / laptop. RPG dice if you have them. The game, Modos 2, is pretty easy, and I'll walk you through it. You can grab a copy from DrivethruRPG.com if you like a more hands-on approach.

We'll meet in Thrift to Thrive / Grounds for Change, which has a small cafe and lounge. There's no fee, but I'm sure they would like you to buy a drink or a snack. Or a used picture frame - it's also a thrift store.

RSVP if you're interested. Join the event conversation!
