November Book Club- Non fiction

November book club will be virtual. Just a reminder, December will be in person and will include a book exchange.

Empress of the Nile by Lynne Olson is a biography about French archaeologist Christiane Desroches-Noblecourt, who led the international campaign to save ancient Egyptian temples from being submerged by the Aswan High Dam in the 1960s. The book details her daring efforts, which involved overcoming political obstacles and defying world leaders to rescue priceless artifacts like the temples of Abu Simbel.
