nescala 2018 Unconference (Day 1)

Details
The first day of the symposium is a free-to-attend, hands-on unconference (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconference), self-organized on the spot by whoever shows up. (Trust us, this works.)
In past years we’ve had workshops, panels, talks that didn’t make it into day 2, debates, radio shows, and many unstructured conversations. The unconference is what you make it.
Unconference participants will collectively fill the schedule grid first thing Saturday morning. We'll provide rooms with projectors, whiteboards, and markers. Smaller informal discussions can occur in the common areas.
9:00 doors open, unconference planning session
9:30 sessions begin
5:30 happy hour on-premises courtesy of Twilio. Beer, wine, and appetizers will be provided. Stick around!
7:30 13 hour break before day 2
A ticket for day 2 of the conference is not required in order to attend day 1.
