iO Virtual .Net Meetup - Jon Skeet - C#8

iO Associates are delighted to reveal our .Net Virtual Meetups will be on Thursday 3rd September at 7pm. We will be joined by Jon Skeet, Staff Software Engineer at Google, who will be presenting a talk on C#8.

C# 8 was released in 2019 and has a huge set of features, most notably nullable reference types, but also pattern matching enhancements, switch expressions, index and range literals, greater async integration and more. The talk will be split into two halves, the first half will be discussing nullable reference types in depth. The second half will be based on looking at the remaining features.

There will be many opportunities to ask questions and open the floor for anything you would like to add or discuss at the end.
