Welcome to the January Meetup
Details
Welcome!
Reserve the date for our .Net Skåne January meetup. This time at the LivingIT offices at Gustav Adolfs square in Malmö!
Agenda:
- Primitive Obsession : Code-along (Johan)
We, as programmers, has a tendency to always use primitive types (int, double, string, etc.) even when the data is complex. In this session we will explore this primitive obsession and find ways to write more type safe, robust, and readable code.
Bring your laptop! It's learning by doing. - Back to Basics: Understanding for, foreach, IEnumerable, and List (Tore)
Have you ever wondered about the differences between a for loop and a foreach loop? What exactly is IEnumerable, and when should you use it? How does it compare to List, and when is one better than the other? In this presentation, Tore will shed light on these concepts and help demystify their use cases. - Asynchronous streams and Interactive Extensions (Mats)
What is IAsyncEnumerable and how do I handle it when my LINQ expression suddenly needs to filter on asynchronous expressions. This and related topics will be talked about in this presentation. - Open discussion
