Welcome to the .Net Skåne June 2025 meetup. This time we have the pleasure of inviting you back to Stretch Amplify, Malmö for an inspiring evening! This event is free to attend, and there will be free drinks and free food.

Agenda:

1. Scratching the hull: What is that container engine really up to?
   (Henrik Jönsson, Avenga)
   Containerization has quickly risen to become the favored method of packaging applications for many of us. We use it for production environments, to run applications locally or to easily set up infrastructure dependencies when running tests. But what really happens when you run that application in a container? And how contained is it? Lets have some fun looking into containerization and the techniques that makes it possible.
2. Explore how OpenAPI is handled in .NET 9 vs .NET 8.
   (Nicklas Lundgren, Stretch Amplify)
   Learn the difference between Swagger and OpenAPI, and how to take control of your API documentation.
   We'll generate and customize OpenAPI using minimal APIs and transformers. Finally, we'll explore a couple of options for visualizing the OpenAPI spec with Swagger UI and Scalar.
3. An aspiring talk about .NET Aspire
   (Peter Nylander, Avenga)
   What is .NET Aspire and why should you use it? The session goes through the basic of why and how of .NET Aspire. And hopefully you will leave with new ideas and inspiration of how you can use .NET Aspire in your personal projects and/or projects at work.
4. Ask anyone anything (AAA)

About the speakers:

• Henrik Jönsson
  Henrik is a technical architect consultant at Avenga (formerly known as Qinshift), based in Malmö. Henrik works with most things .NET and Azure. He also has an interest for looking under the hood of the tech we use to understand how it actually works.
• Nicklas Lundgren
  Nicklas Lundgren is a developer and architect primarily focused on cloud technology and .NET. He currently works as a senior consultant and CTO at Stretch Amplify, helping clients implement modern cloud solutions. He has a strong passion for technology and has nerded in on testing and delivering high-quality software.
• Peter Nylander
  Peter is a software engineer and software architect focusing on .NET development and cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. He's passionate about technology and always eager to learn new things. Peter works at Avenga as Head of the .NET competency in Sweden and as a software architect!
