Welcome to .NET Skåne October 2025!

Hi and welcome to the second meetup of this autumn!
This time we have the pleasure of inviting you to Qualipro in Malmö for yet another inspiring evening!

This event is free to attend and there will be free drinks and food. We hope to see you there!
IMPORTANT: If you have signed up to the event but can't make for some reason please cancel your spot in good time before the event so the spot is free for someone else to attend.

Agenda:

  1. What I think about when I think about software architecture.
    (Fredrik Mörk)
    Software architecture, what is that really about? When a software architect reasons about stuff, what kind of stuff do they pay attention to?
    In this (quite non-technical) talk, Fredrik shares what he thinks about when he thinks about software architecture.

  2. Code-Along: Automated Testing in .NET
    (Roman Kuroptev)
    Discover how automated testing can speed up feedback, simplify debugging, and increase confidence in your .NET applications. In this code-along we’ll explore when to use unit vs API tests, and why the Test Diamond may fit better than the traditional Test Pyramid. Through live coding we’ll self-host an API with WebApplicationFactory, generate a strongly typed client from an OpenAPI (Swagger) spec, and write tests against it — showing how these techniques make your test suite reliable and easy to maintain as your APIs evolve.
    Don't forget to bring your laptop to follow along!

About the speakers:
* Fredrik Mörk
Fredrik is a software architect thriving in the borderland between software-, product- and business development. He has written code in Visual Basic. The non .NET kind. Yes, he is that old. He is an occasional conference speaker (DevSum, Øredev and user groups in Sweden and Norway, among others), and a photographer.

* Roman Kuroptev
Roman Kuroptev is a software developer with six years of experience building robust .NET applications. He has worked with companies such as Axis Communications, Tunstall, and Tetra Pak. Roman is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and helping teams improve software quality through automated testing, API design, and best practices in .NET development.
