Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll build a CLI-based AI agent using Microsoft Agent Framework and the AG-UI integration.
AG-UI is a standard that defines how AI agents communicate with user-facing applications. It enables powerful capabilities like streaming chat, tool calling, human-in-the-loop interactions, and extensible UI patterns–without tightly coupling your agent to a specific frontend.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Walk through core concepts of AG-UI
  • Build a working AI agent as a .NET CLI application
  • Explore how the same agent can be extended to a Blazor web application

Format

  • ~30 minutes: AG-UI concepts & architecture
  • ~60 minutes: Hands-on project build

What to bring

  • A laptop
  • Internet access (hotspot)
  • VS Code with C# Dev Kit installed
  • A GitHub Personal Access Token (fine-grained, with Model:read permission)

Whether you’re building internal tools, experimenting with AI agents, or exploring how .NET, AG-UI, and Blazor fit together–this workshop will give you a practical foundation you can build on.
