Improve education by participating in a hackathon that will help educate students through the lens of travel. Join others who are passionate about travel and education to build solutions to the challenges these industries face.

On Friday night, those who have an idea for a product will have one minute to pitch the idea to the entire group. Attendees will then form teams based on the ideas they are most interested in working on. Each team will include at least one developer, designer, educator, and business person (i.e. marketer, sales person, etc.). Teams will work together to build a new product that addresses a travel-related edtech challenge in 24 hours. At the end, each team will pitch its product to a panel of judges, which will include experts in both the travel and education industries. Examples of what you could build:

an app that teaches students the Spanish words for fruit and vegetables
a website that lets students learn about other cultures
a game that uses content from a travel guide to teach students about a specific country or city
