Announcing a new Meetup for Net2NO (NetSquared New Orleans)!

What: The Jazz & Heritage Talent Exchange Website: Where Music & Tech "Sync Up"

When: Tuesday, April 6,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Le Chat Noir
715 St Charles Ave
New Orleans, LA 70151
(504)[masked]

Join Net2NO on Tuesday, April 6th at Le Chat Noir, where we'll hear from Scott Aiges, Director of Programs, Marketing & Communications for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Foundation. See a demo of the Jazz & Heritage Talent Exchange website ? a searchable database of Louisiana music, developed to help the musicians of Louisiana (many of whom don't have booking agents, record labels or music publishers) connect with festivals and other talent buyers for live performance engagements, as well as music supervisors for licensing music into films, TV shows, commercials and videogames.

You'll also get a preview of this year's Sync Up conference ? one of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's economic development programs for the Louisiana entertainment industry ? which brings together top leaders from the international music festival industry plus key figures in the worlds of film, television, videogames, social networking and other new media. Admission to Sync Up is free, so advance registration is required. (For more info or to register, visit the Sync Up website).

This month's Net2NO meetup is sponsored by MyPhoneMD, a NetSquared member company that provides repair services for smart phones, iPods and mobile devices. To celebrate the grand opening of their new Magazine Street location, MyPhoneMD is picking up the bar tab for Net2NO. The first fifty people who show up Tuesday night get free drinks! What's more, they're offering EVERY Net2NO member a discount on repair services. (So now is a good time to get that cracked screen taken care of...) Thanks, MyPhoneMD!

Worried you can't get to the meetup in time to get free booze? There's another way! Everyone who makes a pledge to back InvadeNOLA's Kickstarter project will get a free drink, as well! Please help us get Justin Shiels to his fundraising goal for this project. There are only a few days left, and if the goal isn't reached, this project won't get any funding. The money is needed to pay writers and cover other costs associated with the production of TEN issues of InvadeNOLA. You can sign up to support this project on the InvadeNOLA Kickstarter page. Thank you so much, Net2NO! We can help make this project happen.

Can't wait to see you all on April 6th! Feel free to contact us through the meetup group if you have any questions.

Your Loyal Organizers,
Jessica, Andrew and Damien
