AFP Vancouver presents: Fundraising with Social Media

Social media. It's good for gossip, photos of cats and wasting time when you should be prospecting. But can you also use social media to fundraise? Or is it just another distraction that keeps us from doing the real work that brings dollars in the door?

When: Thursday, March 21, 7:00 AM To 9:00 AM
Where: Century Plaza Hotel, 1015 Burrard St., Vancouver, BC.

Tickets on the AFP website ($30 AFP members, $50 non-members)

Join a panel of grizzled social media veterans with a background in fundraising for a breakfast panel. We'll share the reality of fundraising with social media, how you can create an engaged fundraising community, and how you can integrate social media into your other fundraising strategies. We'll also share techniques for measuring social media success so that you can justify the investment needed to succeed.

Your panelists

  • Chris Mathieson, social media consultant and Fish Monger's Assistant
  • Derek Weiss, Manager of Community Engagement at Union Gospel Mission
  • Beth Ann Locke,

NOTE: Net Tuesday's Eli van der Giessen will be moderating the panel.
