SECOND TALK: 19:50 - 20:35 How to build scalable apps with Orleans
Orleans is a framework for building distributed apps created by Microsoft Research. Based on the virtual actor model paper [http://research.microsoft.com/apps/pubs/default.aspx?id=210931 ]. It makes easier the building of distributed and scalable apps which can be deployed easily on the cloud or on premises. We will provide an introduction to the Virtual Actor Model and cover some of the features of Orleans. We will also show the changes of the 2.0 version which is about to be released and has integrated some of netcore 2.0 features.
