Walk from Fort Rhijnauwen to Utrecht Centraal (10.5km)

Awright Muckas let's go for a wander in the rare countryside of the Netherlands.

We will be walking from Bunnik station to Utrecht centraal.
The description of the trail is as follows:

"A trail running between the train stations of Bunnik and Utrecht Central. The route runs on small paths, along the river Kromme Rijn, to Rhijnauwen Castle and past the fortress. Then you follow the Kromme Rijn towards the Lunet, with also a fortress and castle, and further into Utrecht until you arrive at Utrecht Central Station."

The walk is 10.5km so it should take between 2-3 hours but we will be taking a break at the midway point so bring a packed lunch.
We will meet at Bunnik trainstation at 11:00am and aim to leave at 11:10am.

Afterwards we can find somewhere to drink or have a walk around Utrecht.
If the weather is not good I will postpone the walk.
