Are you are looking for us to help you join or create a regular gaming group? What is your availability?

I'm looking to join a regular group, ideally during the week or on a not-weekly basis because I tend to run away on weekends here and there.

What RPG games/systems do you prefer? Are there any games you are interested in trying out or playtesting?

I prefer games that are fairly easy or intuitive to pick up. I started off on D&D 3.5 and am currently playing d20 modern. I'm not so keen on World of Darkness / Vampire type settings because it gets too emo for my liking. Cortex system is fun. I'm pretty much open to anything though, I don't mind if your system is wacky and the rules are homebrewed, as long as the game rolls nicely.

On a scale of rules complexity/depth with 1 being rules-light and 10 being rules-heavy, how 'crunchy' do you like a roleplaying rules system to be?

Probably about a 3. I think rules are there to support a game, not dominate it, and mechanics should never stand in the way of plot. All hail the plot!

Do you feel able to be the GM/DM for a regular group, or GM a one-off game at a Meetup?

I haven't GM'd in a while, but if I brushed up on things I could probably run a one off. Otherwise I don't think I want to commit to GM'ing a proper game at the moment.

Have you ever been a GM/DM (GameMaster/DungeonMaster)? If so what systems did/do you run?

I GM'd some D&D 3.5, a little system of my own (really a playtest) and recently tried out Hell for Leather - although that's not strictly GM'ing.

Hey, I'm Becca! I've moved to The Hague in June 2012 and I'm looking for some friendly people to game with on a casual basis. I prefer long-term RPGs, but I'm also quite partial to a bit of board gaming.
