Maria is PwC's AI for Good Lead and an evangelist for tech for good and responsible application of technology while promoting ethical issues related to data and algorithms and their impact on businesses. Maria is part of the advisory board of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI, member of the IEEE’s Working Group on a Standard for Child and Student Data Governance (IEEE P7004), a advocate for children and youth rights in the age of AI, and a Fellow of The RSA.
