Everyone knows what a music jam is, but have you ever been to a 'Story Jam'?

The Story Jam is a playful workshop where storytellers of all levels explore their unique ways of telling a story. Led by Berlin’s own Netto Baby (performance artist, electronic musician, and anthro-apologist extraordinaire), each session invites you to try out different modes of storytelling - from movement, improv, writing, sounding, collage, and more.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or someone who gets anxious at the thought of sharing, this is a safe, experimental space for you.

We’ll play with prompts and exercises, collaborate with one another, and even experiment with directing and curating.

Think of it like this: you write a poem, and your friend John (hi John!) creates a movement score. Put them together and suddenly you’ve got the seeds of theatre. Just like musicians in a jam, we’ll riff off each other’s ideas, combine unexpected elements, and help one another grow as artists and humans.

Open to the curious. All levels welcome. Let’s play!

This event is donation-based (recommended: 5€). Pay what you can - no one will be turned away.
