The Wilmington AI Roundtable

We are starting a quarterly AI Roundtable for the Wilmington region.
We would like YOU to join us on May 28th.

After our sold out April 30th event on AI products and SALES, UNCW graduate and serial entrepreneur Matt Cimino approached NEW about having a series of events specific to AI. Matt is starting a new venture studio called AMPED Ventures (See Amped.io) in Wilmington. Matt has also committed to becoming an annual sponsor of NEW to support this additional work.

At the same time, the CEO of an exciting new FinTech Company , Corbin Penland of Synply , invited NEW to host a NEW event in their great new office on the 7th FLOOR in the Skyline Center. (The old PPD building downtown.) Great views of downtown and the river.

(But there is limited space in the office so push the registration button now.)

These events will evolve depending on your feedback. These events won't be as "formal" as normal NEW events.

The format is simple. No slides. No long talks. A handful of folks will share what they're building. The rest of the night is built around you meeting the other people in the room - what they're working on, what's actually working, and how we can learn from each other.

There is new TECH TALENT at the coast that must be engaged to retain these big brains.

For once, Wilmington is not lagging in a new innovation based industry. Companies in Wilmington like OpiAID, Predicate.AI and SkillMaker have all been recognized by the NC Tech Association Awards in two out of the last three years.

So let's create more opportunities in AI for more people at the coast of North Carolina.
