Session Title: Programming Network Devices with gRPC and OpenConfig

This session introduces gRPC, a high performance, open-source universal RPC framework, which allows users to program network elements via a single interface/connection. We will leverage OpenConfig vendor-neutral data models to apply configurations and generate telemetry streams. These are the building blocks to validate the intent of network config changes.

If time permits, we will also discuss and demonstrate how to retrieve operational information, program the RIB/FIB and execute different actions remotely on a router via gRPC
