Learn how to use your introvert powers to survive and thrive at networking events.

A common misconception is that introverts are naturally bad at networking. As an introvert myself, I’ve found the opposite to be true. At its core, networking is about building genuine relationships -- something at which many introverts naturally excel. This workshop will focus on how introverts can use their innate talents to navigate networking more comfortably and effectively, with a particular emphasis on in-person events. Examples of topics covered include:

  1. Debunk introvert myths
  2. Replace small talk with real talk
  3. Find meaningful connections in a crowded environment
  4. Initiating and maintaining conversation with strangers
  5. Exiting unproductive conversations
  6. Replenish your social energy
  7. Manage networking anxiety

There will be 5 interactive sessions for attendees to practice what you learn.

Notes:

  1. This workshop focuses exclusively on in-person networking. For guidance on both virtual and in-person networking, I recommend Networking for Job Seekers.
  2. Workshop content partially overlaps with that of Networking for Job Seekers. If you’ve previously attended my job-seeker workshop, feel free to contact me for a discount code or for more information on the new material covered in Networking for Introverts.
