Dear All,

We meet each week on Wednesday for Outdoor Yoga class near Lake of Neuchatel.

Time: 6:30 PM

Meeting point: Red church (https://goo.gl/maps/n8rskfbPLZB2) (Rue A-L-Breguet 5-11, 2000 Neuchâtel,).

Donation: 10 CHF/class which will used for supporting the educational need of children in developing world.

Things to bring: Yoga mat, water bottle and a warm Shawl and lots of smile.

Donts: No solid food before/after 60 min.

Clothing: be comfortable and relaxing and a bit warm.

This group is for everyone who would like to make yoga part of their daily life and practice it regularly. Yoga has many benefits for the body and mind (such as increase in overall health, fat loss, stress reduction and improvement of the mood). Classes are directed towards wellbeing, fitness and health aspect of yoga practice and for all levels.

I would like more people to be able to experience all these wonderful benefits of regular yoga practice. And that is why I started this project Yoga in Neuchatel at the same time the donation collected through these classes would go to educational needs of children in developing world.

WHY YOGA?

What is yoga: Yoga is Sanskrit term which means “to add“. Here we work on finding a balance between the body, mind and soul. The perfect harmony of these three elements is essential for an unalloyed happiness. As modern life is getting more hectic and stressful, the relevance of Yoga is much greater in today’s society.

How it works:It helps you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement. It makes the body more flexible and helps you relax even in the midst of a stress stricken environment. At the same time it helps the mind to concentrate better and reduce the anxiety and stress.This is one of the foremost reasons why people want to start Practicing Yoga - to feel fitter, be more energetic, be happier and peaceful.

Yoga for health: Poor posture can affect not only the way you feel on a physical level, it can also have a negative impact on your overall well-being. Yoga believes that only an healty body can have healthy mind and vice-versa.

Yoga reduces stress- Stress is often a contributing factor to many health problems and weight gain. With the practice of yoga, you are rewarding yourself by taking time to de-stress and unwind, disconnecting from the outside world.

Yoga increases mind-body connection - Yoga is not a physical exercise. It is intended to unite the mind and body through the practice of breath work with movement. The many benefits of a regular yoga practice stem from its emphasis on connecting the mind and body through performing conscious, focused postures (asana) and breath work (pranayam).As your mind and body begin to harmonies, you begin to experience increased self-awareness. This self-awareness can be carried with you off the yoga mat and into your daily life, helping you to make positive dietary and lifestyle choices that can aid in your weight loss goals.
