Object Handling with Leighton and Sambourne House
Hosted by Autism Spectrum/ADHD Women
Details
Join the Leighton House and Sambourne House museum team for an object handling session exploring extraordinary objects from the museums’ collections. This is a relaxed opportunity to discover what museum objects can tell us about the past.
If you have an easy to carry historical object (this could be something decades or centuries old) that can be displayed on a small table feel free to bring it along but, equally, feel free to come along without an object, discover what others have brought and join in the conversation.
Refreshments will be made available after the workshop, in a separate area, to protect the objects and collections.
Note: this is an event that will have members of the public involved too so there will be guys and non-autistic people/people without ADHD there as well.
